Effective and last updated: August 22, 2026

Individual access and personalized-recording purchases do not include commercial or organizational rights.

Separate written permission is required

Businesses, corporations, nonprofits, schools, governmental entities, employers, brands, agencies, media companies, political organizations, campaigns, applications, wellness programs, and other organizations must obtain a separate written agreement before using Borrow My Voice content, recordings, voice, image, likeness, identity, or performance for organizational or commercial purposes.

Examples of uses requiring a license

  • advertising, sponsorship, endorsements, or branded campaigns;
  • employee wellness, training, or organizational programming;
  • courses, presentations, podcasts, film, television, or other media production;
  • applications, digital products, websites, or product integrations;
  • fundraising, public campaigns, institutional programs, or revenue-generating uses; and
  • any use that suggests Borrow My Voice or its creator endorses an organization, product, service, cause, or position.

AI and synthetic-media rights are not included

No standard license or individual purchase grants rights for AI training, voice cloning, voice synthesis, digital replicas, avatars, deepfakes, biometric modeling, model development, synthetic performers, or other synthetic use of the creator’s voice, image, likeness, identity, or performance. Any authorized use requires explicit written terms.
