Refund & Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a paid personalized recording order within 1 hour of payment for a full refund. Your Borrow My Voice order receipt includes a time-limited Cancel & refund this order link that remains active through the end of that one-hour window.

The link opens a confirmation page; merely opening the email or page does not cancel the order. Once you confirm cancellation during the eligible window, Borrow My Voice will immediately submit the full refund to Stripe for return to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer controls how long the credit takes to appear on your account.

If the self-service link is unavailable while you are still within the one-hour window, contact hello@borrowmyvoice.net from the purchaser email address as soon as possible and include enough information for us to identify the order.

Because personalized recordings involve individualized creative work, orders are generally non-refundable after the 1-hour cancellation window once Borrow My Voice begins material work on review, scripting, recording, or production, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

If Borrow My Voice needs additional information to produce the recording, the turnaround window may pause while we wait for your response. If the required information is not provided within 7 days after our request, Borrow My Voice may cancel the order and determine the appropriate refund or payment handling based on work already completed and applicable law.

If Borrow My Voice declines or cannot substantially fulfill a paid request before delivering the purchased service, the amount paid for the unfulfilled request will be refunded or otherwise handled as required by applicable law and the payment provider.

If a delivered recording has a material technical defect or does not substantially match the accepted order because of an error by Borrow My Voice, contact hello@borrowmyvoice.net within 14 days of delivery. We may provide a correction, replacement, or refund as appropriate to the circumstances.

Personalized recordings are creative services and may vary in pacing, tone, phrasing, interpretation, and delivery. A preference for a different creative choice does not automatically constitute a defect where the recording substantially matches the accepted request. Once the request has been accepted for production, new content or preference-based revisions may require a new order.

Nothing in this policy limits refund, cancellation, warranty, or consumer-protection rights that cannot legally be waived.
