Personalized Recording Terms & Disclaimer

Personal Note, Full Message, and Extended Message recordings may be purchased at the price shown during checkout. Payment creates an order subject to Borrow My Voice's editorial review and the terms below.

Requests longer than 15 minutes are reviewed individually. Submitting a custom request does not create a purchase. Borrow My Voice will provide availability, pricing, and an expected delivery window before payment is requested.

Personal Note recordings are approximately 2–5 minutes. Full Message recordings are approximately 6–10 minutes. Extended Message recordings are approximately 11–15 minutes. Actual spoken duration may vary slightly based on natural pacing and the material.

Standard turnaround for eligible Personal Note and Full Message orders is 5 business days once Borrow My Voice has all information needed for production. Rush service, when selected and available, is 2 business days for an additional 50%. Extended Messages are scheduled according to availability and do not include automatic rush service.

Personalized requests and purchases must be submitted by an adult who is legally capable of entering into the transaction. An adult may request a recording intended for a younger listener.

Personalized recordings are intended for encouragement, affirmation, reflection, comfort, supportive self-talk, and general wellness. They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or other professional services.

A personalized recording is not an emergency or crisis-response service and should not be relied upon to protect someone from imminent harm or replace individualized care from a qualified professional.

Borrow My Voice retains sole editorial discretion over material performed in its voice and may decline, revise, shorten, or request changes to submitted material, including content involving threats, harassment, deception, unlawful activity, defamatory allegations, harmful instructions, misleading professional claims, unauthorized endorsements, political campaign messaging, or commercial advertising disguised as a personal request. If Borrow My Voice cannot fulfill a paid request, the unfulfilled order will be refunded as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that names, scripts, messages, pronunciation information, and other materials you submit are lawful for you to provide and do not violate another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights. Avoid unnecessary confidential, medical, financial, identifying, or intimate information. If required information is missing, the production window may pause while Borrow My Voice requests clarification.

Unless Borrow My Voice provides a separate written license, a completed personalized recording is licensed for individual, private, noncommercial use only. The purchaser and intended recipient may listen to or view it for its intended personal purpose and may privately share it with friends or family.

The purchase does not transfer ownership of the creator’s voice, image, likeness, identity, performance, delivery, original scripting, trademarks, brand assets, production elements, or other Borrow My Voice intellectual property.

Personalized recordings may not be used for business, organizational, institutional, promotional, advertising, fundraising, political, commercial, employee-programming, training, media-production, branded-wellness, application, campaign, or revenue-generating purposes without a separate written agreement. An organization cannot obtain commercial rights by purchasing an individual personalized recording.

Personalized recordings may not be uploaded, sampled, processed, analyzed, or otherwise used for AI or machine-learning training, voice cloning, voice synthesis, text-to-speech development, biometric modeling, digital replicas, avatars, deepfakes, synthetic performers, model evaluation or fine-tuning, or generation of new audio or video purporting to feature the creator without explicit written authorization.

Orders may be canceled within the cancellation period described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Once production begins, personalized creative work is generally non-refundable except where required by law or where Borrow My Voice cannot fulfill the order. After delivery, Borrow My Voice will correct material technical defects or clear production errors attributable to Borrow My Voice. Creative-preference changes or new requested content may require a new order.
